¶ 1 John Quinby, a quadriplegic, fell off an examination table where he was left unattended following a routine procedure to remove a mole performed by defendant Charles Burmeister, M.D. Mr. Quinby died before the case went to trial, allegedly as a result of the injuries he sustained in the fall.
