On January 9, 2002, Ashley Pond disappeared at the age of twelve. Her remains were found months later buried on Ward Weaver III's rental property. Weaver was arrested and charged with the aggravated murder of Ashley Pond as well as numerous related counts. His trial is currently delayed pending his ability to aid and assist his criminal defense, after treatment at Oregon State Hospital as ordered by the judge presiding over...
