DREW, J.

In this employment discrimination suit, Fletter Taylor appeals a judgment dismissing her claim without prejudice because of her failure to timely request service. We affirm.

FACTS

Taylor filed suit on August 9, 2001, against LSU Medical Center ("LSUMC"). Taylor alleged that she had been wrongfully terminated in May 2000 because of her race and comments she had made regarding the proposed removal of another minority nurse.
