This appeal arises from a suit brought by a physician's former patient to require the physician's insurance carrier to pay her $3,000,000 of a $5,600,000 judgment that she had been awarded in a medical malpractice action against the physician. The trial court concluded that the insurance company's "claims-made" coverage did not extend to the patient's claim, granted the insurance company's motion for summary judgment, and denied the patient's cross...
