The defendants, Samantha Hall, Zipora A. Hall, and Alisha Powell, were each convicted of second degree battery in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:34.1. Thereafter, the trial court sentenced Samantha Hall to imprisonment at hard labor for two years, suspended, and placed her on active probation for two years.
