HILL, J.:

In this case we are asked to determine if the district court, in a custody dispute, had the authority to prevent a divorced mother from forcing her minor daughter to testify in open court and choose one parent over the other. The district court released the child from her subpoena and did not force her to testify. We find no abuse of discretion and affirm.
