Defendant Jeffrey Finn, a former special agent with the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, appeals his conviction of knowingly and willfully making a false statement, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1001(a)(3) and 2. On appeal, Finn argues, in pertinent part, that the evidence presented at trial was insufficient to satisfy the materiality requirement of § 1001(a)(3)...
