This is an appeal by defendant, Dr. Bradley Bartholomew, and the Louisiana Patients' Compensation Fund (LPCF), from an adverse judgment after a jury trial on a medical malpractice claim.

This matter was begun with the filing of a petition for damages by Daphne LeRay and her parents, Glenn and Elaine LeRay, after a finding by the Medical Review Panel that there was no breach of standard of care...
