Norris Riggs Jr., was charged with the manufacture of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He entered a plea of not guilty and moved to suppress evidence and statements obtained by the police after a warrantless entry into his apartment. Relying on Eason v. State, 546 So.2d 57 (Fla. 1st DCA 1989), the trial court rejected the State's contention that the entry was lawful based on exigent circumstances...
