Danny Edward Jefferies was convicted of two counts of aggravated battery, five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a firearm during commission of certain crimes, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The trial court sentenced him to 40 years, with 30 to be served in confinement. Jefferies appeals, arguing that he was denied the effective assistance of counsel, that the trial court erred in admitting evidence...
