In December 2002, Plaintiffs, who are minor children, along with their parents, filed a class action lawsuit under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23 against the Housing Authority of Louisville ("HAL"). They seek monetary damages and injunctive relief resulting from violations by HAL of federal statutes, Kentucky state statutes, and Jefferson County municipal codes to prevent and eliminate lead-based paint exposure...
