In 1992, Barbara Bernotas, a patron of the Super Fresh Food Market, sustained serious injuries when she fell into a hole in the floor at a construction area inside the store. The general contractor, Acciavatti Associates, hired subcontractor Goldsmith Associates to perform electrical work in accordance with the plans and specifications of the general contract, Contract MV-1219, between Acciavatti and Super Fresh's parent company...
