The plaintiff, Sengchanh Amphavannasouk (plaintiff), appeals from a judgment denying a motion for new trial after a jury verdict in favor of the defendant, Dawn Simoneau (defendant), in a negligence action stemming from an automobile accident. Based on testimony given by the jury foreperson, the plaintiff argues that extraneous evidence brought into deliberations by one of the jurors warrants a new trial.
