On October 17, 1998, Tracy Crew-Taylor entered Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore. She was expecting triplets, who were at thirty weeks, two days gestation.1 Her treating physician, Dr. Pedro P. Arrabal, diagnosed Mrs. Crew-Taylor as suffering from gestational diabetes. Mrs. Crew-Taylor delivered two daughters (Cache and Sashe) and a son (Che) on the afternoon of October 19.
