The Board of Trustees of the University of Louisiana System, d/b/a McNeese State University (hereinafter "McNeese") appeals a judgment of $49,156.00 rendered pursuant to a jury verdict against it in a proceeding brought under the Equal Pay Act of 1963, 29 U.S.C. § 206 (hereinafter "EPA") by Dr. Ulku Ramelow, a tenured professor in McNeese's chemistry department.
