We granted the petition for a writ of certiorari filed by Ted's Game Enterprises ("Ted's") to address two issues.2 The first issue is whether Ala. Const.1901, Art. IV, § 65, prohibits the Legislature from authorizing or legalizing coin-operated amusement machines as to which "some skill" influences "in whole or in part" the result obtained by the operation of the machines.
