JORDAN, District Judge.

Daniel Manville, appointed counsel for the prisoner plaintiff,1 obtained a jury verdict in favor of his client in a 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action, for which he was awarded attorney's fees as a prevailing party. The defendant appealed only the jury verdict. We overturned the jury verdict on one of the plaintiff's four claims and remanded the case for a new trial on the issue of punitive damages unless...
