The appellees, Dennis and Mary Wilson, were dissatisfied with legal services rendered by the appellant, Steven C. Vanden Berg, in connection with the Wilsons' purchase of a residence in Mason City, Iowa. The Wilsons successfully sued Vanden Berg and his firm, Torgerson & Vanden Berg Law Offices, for breach of contract and fraud.
