At issue in this appeal is whether the trial court erred in granting defendant's exceptions of no right of action and no cause of action. For the following reasons, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

Plaintiff/appellant in this case is David Gibson who was convicted of theft and forgery and was sentenced as a multiple offender to thirty-two years at hard labor in 1989.1
