A Superior Court jury convicted the defendant, James Freeman, III, of murder in the first degree on theories of deliberate premeditation and felony-murder.1 His appeal, originally entered in this court in February, 2000, has been delayed by the defendant's change of counsel and by his filing in this court in 2002 a motion for a new trial, which we remanded to Superior Court, where it was denied.
