Melton Management, Inc. d/b/a McDonald's ("Melton") appeals an order denying its motion to tax costs and abate proceedings under Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.420 and 1.525. We affirm.

Valerie Krott-Shaughnessy ("Shaughnessy") filed a personal injury action against Melton for negligence. After extensive discovery, and on the eve of trial, Shaughnessy voluntarily dismissed the action. Melton's counsel intentionally did not file a Rule 1.525...
