In this wrongful death action, defendant Harold Anderson,1 the chief of the Munising Township volunteer fire department, appeals as of right the trial court's order denying his motion for summary disposition under MCR 2.116(C)(7). Because we agree with the trial court that a township fire chief2 is not sheltered by the absolute immunity provisions of MCL 691.1407(5), we affirm.
