The plaintiff in this case is a disbarred lawyer who was employed by defendant in his law firm. After the plaintiff's employment ended, defendant reported alleged acts of plaintiff's misconduct to the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board ("Board") and to the police. Plaintiff responded by filing this suit for malicious prosecution. Following a hearing on exceptions filed by the defendant, the trial court dismissed this suit. For the following reasons...
