Cody Black was employed as a general laborer by H & S Services, Inc. d/b/a Snelling Temporaries Services, which assigned him to work at Lofland Company. On November 17, 1999, after having worked at Lofland for approximately one week, Black injured his hands while pushing rods measuring approximately 15 feet in length into a rebar machine. As Black used his left hand to guide a rod, his left hand was pulled into the rebar machine, and three of his fingers...
