Following a bench trial, Charles D. Greene was convicted of child abandonment and sentenced to three years probation with 330 to 360 days to be served in a detention center. The sentence was amended to suspend service in the detention center upon payment of $10,000 of the $29,945.52 arrearage, and to allow for first offender status.
