The defendant, George Henry Millican, IV, was charged by grand jury indictment with two counts of second degree murder, violations of La. R.S. 14:30.1, and pled not guilty. Following a jury trial on both counts, he was found guilty as charged by unanimous verdict. He was sentenced, on each count, to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence, sentences to be served consecutively.
