This expedited appeal concerns an initiative proposed by citizens of Girdwood, aimed at preserving much of the lower end of Girdwood valley as a park. The land is currently owned by the Municipality of Anchorage and has been subject to extensive study and planning, much of it aimed at the development of a private golf course.
