I. INTRODUCTION

Kentucky's appellate courts review trial court rulings regarding the admissibility of expert witness testimony under an abuse of discretion standard. The Court of Appeals in this case held that the admission of the testimony of Bruce Taylor ("Taylor") had been an abuse of discretion because his testimony failed to meet the relevance and reliability requirements of Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
