The Defendant, Gilbert Southern Corporation, appeals from a workers' compensation judgment in favor of the Plaintiff, Sidney Jones. We reverse in part, amend in part, and affirm as amended.

On July 5, 2001, the Plaintiff began working with the Defendant as a welder on a project constructing a power plant in Carville, Louisiana. In August of 2001, he began seeing doctors for pain in the extremities, limping, numbness and joint pain...
