This action involves a dispute over the enforceability of a lien on the proceeds of a settlement agreement. Anna Marie Bowling ("Bowling") was injured by a physician's malpractice. While her malpractice lawsuit was pending, Bowling was admitted to a care facility operated by Plaintiff, Spectrum Health Continuing Care Group ("Spectrum"), after Bowling's attorney agreed to grant Spectrum a lien on the proceeds of the malpractice...
