A jury convicted Christopher Shrader of possession with intent to distribute diazepam, illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), and aggravated flight from an officer. For these convictions Shrader received five years at hard labor on the drug charge to be served concurrent with five years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence on the weapon count.
