Sixto Jose Ramirez was convicted of possession of more than one kilogram of marijuana with intent to distribute on June 11, 2002, and sentenced to serve twenty-two years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. From that conviction and sentence he appeals to this Court. Ramirez was tried with a co-defendant, Margarita A. Arguelles, and both were convicted.
