The state appeals the district court's order suppressing evidence discovered during a consensual search of respondent Wade Allen Volkman's vehicle. The district court suppressed the evidence based on its interpretation of State v. Fort, 660 N.W.2d 415 (Minn.2003), rejecting the state's argument that the evidence was admissible because it inevitably would have been discovered during an inventory...
