Appellants Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts ("LMHR"), Nomura International, plc ("Nomura"), Juergen Bartels, and Meridien S.A. ("MSA") (collectively "appellants" or "counterdefendants") were joined in an existing lawsuit by LaSalle Hotel Operating Partnership, I, L.P. ("LaSalle").
