MURRAY, Judge.

Defendants, Dr. Gregory Redmann and Dr. Charles Lavis, and intervenor, the Louisiana Patient's Compensation Fund ["PCF"], appeal the trial court's judgment awarding damages to plaintiffs in this medical malpractice action. Defendants also appeal the trial court's denial of the exception of prescription, which was initially raised in this court by Drs. Redmann and Lavis and was heard in the district court following our remand for that purpose.
