Elroy W. Eckhardt appeals the trial court's granting of an exception of prescription, dismissing his suit. For the following reasons, we affirm.

The plaintiff/appellant, Elroy W. Eckhardt ("Eckhardt"), and defendant/appellee, Bryce W. Reveley ("Reveley"), were married on 30 June 1984 and divorced on 4 June 1998. The parties were separate in property, having executed a pre-marital contract on 28 June 1984.
