¶ 1 On April 5, 2000, a medical malpractice action was instituted on behalf of Ancy Kurian (a minor) against Dr. Paul Anisman, Dr. Jitendra Shah and the Heart Center for Children. A little more than a year later, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children was also made defendant to the action. Plaintiffs/appellants allege that both Dr. Shah and Dr. Anisman diagnosed Ancy with Down's syndrome...
