This case came before the Court on a petition for certiorari filed by Dr. Lee H. Arnold (Dr. Arnold or director) and concerns the proper calculation of attorney's fees to be awarded pursuant to G.L.1956 § 28-44-57(b). Doctor Arnold, in his capacity as Director of the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training (department), asks us to review a District Court order that he pay $48,100 in attorney's fees to Gursky Law...
