Kogut, presents the following issue: Where plaintiff, through a bankruptcy settlement, releases one party from liability, are claims against another party barred by our decision in Chemimetals Processing Inc. v. Schrimsher, et al., 140 N.C. App. 135, 535 S.E.2d 594 (2000). We hold that a genuine issue of material fact exists as to the intended scope and effect of the bankruptcy...
