Appellant Dorion Daniel1 was accused and tried in connection with the shooting deaths of two men and the non-fatal shootings of two others in an apartment in Las Vegas. He was convicted, pursuant to a jury trial, of two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder with use of a deadly weapon, and one count of burglary while in possession of a firearm.
