Appellant Virginia Dovers brought an action for negligence against appellees Stephenson Oil Company and William Guffey. She alleged that she suffered damages as a result of an accident in which her car was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer rig driven by Guffey. At the time of the accident, Guffey was employed by Stephenson Oil Company. At trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the appellees. Dovers filed a motion for a new trial...
