STEWART, Judge.

Frank J. Olson was convicted of violating a long-term domestic violence protective order by approaching the residence of Cay Jackson. Olson knew at the time he approached Jackson's apartment building that the court had ordered him not to do so. But he had never received notice of the hearing on the petition for the protective order, and thus never had an opportunity to contest the allegations of domestic violence or the terms...
