Amelia Hartwig's grandson, Mick Hartwig, filed a petition requesting that he be appointed guardian and conservator of Amelia's estate. John Hartwig, Amelia's attorney in fact and adult son, objected to the proceedings. The county court found that a guardian and conservator needed to be appointed for Amelia, and it appointed Mick.
