ANNUNZIATA, Judge.

Hugo Sanchez was charged with carjacking in violation of Code § 18.2-58.1. A jury convicted him, and he received a sentence of seventeen years.1 He now appeals on the grounds that the trial court erred 1) in denying his request for additional funds for an expert witness and 2) in denying his motion to exclude evidence of a witness' identification. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
