The Defendant, Darryl D. Parker, was charged with one count of simple burglary by bill of information on November 9, 1999. He pled not guilty and a jury trial was held on April 26, 2000. The six-person jury found the defendant guilty as charged. On May 8, 2000, the trial court sentenced defendant to twelve years imprisonment at hard labor, to run consecutively with any other sentence that defendant...
