Herb Hallgren brought suit against the United States Department of Energy (the DOE), alleging age discrimination and constructive discharge in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-34 (2000), and the Nebraska Fair Employment Practice Act, Neb.Rev.Stat. §§ 48-1101 to 48-1126 (1998).
