This case involves the interplay between Maryland Code, §§ 19-106 and 19-202 of the Insurance Article, each relating to insurance coverage for family day care providers. Section 19-106 requires insurers who write motor vehicle insurance in the State to offer certain minimum coverage to policyholders who are registered as family day care providers, to protect against liability arising from the day care activity while the child is a passenger...
