Appellant, Elsa Newman, was convicted in a jury trial before the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, (Rupp, J., presiding) of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree, attempted murder in the first degree, first degree assault, first degree burglary, and use of a handgun in the commission of a felony or crime of violence.
