Cielinski, as trustee in bankruptcy for Gregory Gray, sued VFH Captive Insurance Company for damages arising out of VFH's alleged bad faith failure to settle a bodily injury claim against Gray. A jury found for Cielinski and returned a verdict against VFH for $725,000.
