This appeal arises from the trial of a personal injury claim of plaintiff Anthony Fama, II (to whom we refer as "plaintiff" in the singular), against defendant David S. Yi for personal injuries sustained as the result of a car accident. Yi stipulated to liability prior to trial, but the jury found that plaintiff's injuries were not proximately caused by the accident....
